Takeoff!

If I could wake up tomorrow and suddenly have all the skills and resources to do any job, I would be a National Geographic photographer. This painting is my rendition of a photo published by National Geographic. I was struck by the vigorous movement of the flamingos as well as the unexpectedly beautiful combination of colors, so I had to paint it. While doing so, I remembered how much I enjoy painting wildlife; I haven’t had the chance to do much of that lately!
