Sharing a couple sunset paintings from the last few months. The first is over a lake in Brainerd; this painting was made as a commission for a friend over the winter. I was very pleased with how the clouds turned out. The second one is from a photo I took while on Cape Cod a few years ago with my mom and sister. My favorite part about this one is the balance of values (light colors and dark colors) throughout the painting.
