Next plein aire painting from the Amalfi Coast earlier this summer! This was in the town of Sorrento. It was even hotter than normal while I was there, so after a long day trekking around the town with my backpack of art gear, I was really hoping to spend the last couple hours of my day in one of these "pools." They were created by manmade breakers and surrounded by wooden piers with sun loungers and umbrellas. But alas I didn't have quite enough time before I had to get on the ferry back to the town I was staying in closer to Naples.
